Leibrandt was a workhouse in Kansas City, eclipsing 230 innings in four straight years from 1985 to 1989. In 1985, Leibrandt went 17-9 with a 2.69 ERA, yet he was not named to the All-Star team. Leibrandt had a career 3.79 ERA and won 140 games.
