Juan Pierre is one of the best leadoff hitters in MLB history, as he was a career .295 hitter that was adept at stealing bases and scoring runs.
Pierre stole 614 bases in his 14-year career, leading the league in that category three times. Pierre also led the National League in hits twice and in triples once. The long-time Marlin scored 1,075 runs his career but was never named an All-Star.
