Measuring an athlete’s career based on how many All-Star games they went to is a fickle proposition, as so many different elements go into becoming an All-Star.
Not only does the production have to be there on the court, but the player also has to be playing for a decent team that is getting some media attention otherwise their great play can go unnoticed.
Every year players are snubbed from the All-Star team, as spots are limited and the process can get political. Without the distinction of being an All-Star, players are left with legacies that do not truly illustrate how talented the player was on the court.
