2. Eric Chavez
Eric Chavez never making an All-Star Game is one of the biggest gaffes in the history of the sport. There was a six-year stretch from 2001 through 2006, in which Chavez was one of the best third baseman in the MLB.
Chavez hit at least 20 home runs in each of those six seasons and he accumulated 100 RBI or more four times. Chavez won all six Gold Glove Awards during that span and also won one Silver Slugger. Injuries derailed Chavez’ career, but he still finished his career with 260 home runs and 902 RBI.
