2020 NBA Lottery Mock Draft

11. The San Antonio Spurs

Who really knows what the Spurs will do? They’ll probably end up drafting some European no-name that ends up becoming a next Kawaii Leonard.

In all seriousness, the Spurs are in need of a wing or a big man. They might end up moving up in the draft to get Devi Avdija. Reports have come out that the Spurs really like the “best Israeli prospect ever,” according to The Ringer’s K.J. Mann.

However, it’s if San Antonio’s decides to stay where they are in the draft order, they could draft Devin Vassell.

The 6’7″ guard/wing hybrid is the perfect “3 and D” player for the modern NBA. Vassell begins San Antonio something they have lacked for awhile now: Three point shooting. Vassell shot about 41% on 168 attempts throughout his collegiate career at Florida State, according to ESPN.

The Kings are reportedly shopping their 12th pick. If they decide to keep the pick, they are in need of a reliable wing player. Patrick Williams fits that need.

At 6’8″, 225lbs, and a 7′ wingspan, Williams is the ideal forward for the modern NBA. His big frame and physical style allows him to guard multiple positions. In fact, Williams could develop into one of the rare players that can guard all positions. Additionally, Williams is the second youngest player in this draft. He has plenty of upside and potential on the offensive end, but his game is very raw.

He can come in and be a solid defender right away, but he’ll be more of a project on the offensive end for whoever drafts the wing from Florida State.
