2. The Golden State Warriors

The Warriors are in a very interesting position with this pick. Golden State is in win now mode. They need a guy that can contribute right away, so they could look to trade the pick to get a solid veteran player, or they could draft a guy they believe can extend the Warriors dynasty.

If Golden State decides to keep the pick, James Wiseman, the big man from Memphis, is the player they should select.

Golden State is the perfect situation for Wiseman to succeed. With Steph, Klay, and Draymond, Wiseman won’t be asked to do much at first. He can be a D’Andre Jordan type of player: Someone who protects the paint and can run the floor incredible well, and provides a great screen for guards who can set Wiseman up for ally-oops that only he can get.

Wiseman also has the potential to be one of the best big man in the league. In order to get there, Wiseman needs to develop a consistent jump shot. What better situation to learn to shot than Golden State, with the best shooting backcourt in the history of the NBA.
