10 Coaches That Could Potentially Replace Jason Garrett

3. Robert Saleh

Saleh has bounced around a lot in the NFL, spending time with the Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, and Jacksonville Jaguars before taking over as the defensive coordinator for the 49ers in 2017.

Saleh was paired with the rookie head coach Kyle Shanahan, who was quickly tasked with fixing and rebuilding a fairly talentless team.

Once the front office acquired the right pieces, Saleh and Shanahan quickly built the 49ers into a powerhouse during the 2019 season.

Saleh is going to be one of the top head-coaching candidates during the offseason. He was also on staff for the Seahawks’ Super Bowl 48 championship season. He knows what it takes the win the big one.

With that being said, Jason Garrett doesn’t, so the Cowboys should be all over him. It would be a huge win for the Cowboys just to pry Saleh out of San Francisco.
