10 Coaches That Could Potentially Replace Jason Garrett

6. Jim Harbaugh

It feels like he’s overstayed his welcome at the University of Michigan, and it’s probably best if both sides move on now.

Harbaugh had much success in his four-year stint as head coach of the San Fransisco 49ers, leading them to a Super Bowl 47 appearance and three straight NFC championship games between 2011-2013.

Unfortunately, it all ended in 2014 when he had a falling out with ownership and the front office. This could be a primary reason that Jerry Jones passes on Harbaugh, given he’s a candidate for the position.

A lot of players hate playing for Harbaugh because he’s fiery, super competitive, and intense, but his coaching experience speaks for itself. Maybe it’s exactly what the Cowboys need to turn their team around.

The 49ers benefited from Harbaugh after spending most of their time preceding him at the bottom of the standings. It’s clear that he could make the Cowboys so much better who obviously have enough talent to compete for championships.
