10 Coaches That Could Potentially Replace Jason Garrett

4. Mike McCarthy

Although his tenure with the Green Bay Packers ended on a sour note, nobody should forget McCarthy’s work in turning this historic franchise around. The Packers reached four NFC championships under McCarthy’s watch: 2007, 2010, 2014 and 2016.

Let’s not forget that they won Super Bowl 45 over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Packers fired McCarthy in the midst of a lost 2018 season. Surprisingly, he remained unemployed through the 2019 season. This will change soon.

Aaron Rodgers and McCarthy were just not making it work anymore. However, compared to guys like Harbaugh, McCarthy is not a hard guy to play for — he’s quite approachable and pretty laid back. If this is what Jerry Jones is looking for, he should hire McCarthy.

It’s okay to have a nice coach, as long as his name is not Jason Garrett.
