10 Coaches That Could Potentially Replace Jason Garrett

1. Lincoln Riley

Lincoln Riley leads one of the top college football programs in the country.

Riley has served as head coach of the Oklahoma City Sooners since 2017. Since then, they have been a top-four team.

During a 2019 frustrating season from the Cowboys, rumors have surfaced that they are heavily intrigued by Riley as a head coach candidate.

An NFL insider Michael Rapoport claimed that Riley has a very close relationship with none other than — Jerry Jones.

Obviously, the owner of America’s team wants a coach that he can work with on a personal level. After all, that’s why Jones has kept Garrett around for so long. That’s why he fired Jimmy Johnson after he led them to two Super Bowl championships.

The Cowboys certainly need a fresh set of ideas which is something that Riley can bring to the team. He is also a coach that all the players want to play for. The fact that he has a close relationship with Jerry Jones is the icing on the cake. That’s why Lincoln Riley has to be the top candidate.
