10 Coaches That Could Potentially Replace Jason Garrett

9. Josh McDaniels

We’d like to have McDaniels higher on this list, but he gives us no indication that he is ready to leave Foxborough again.

If you remember correctly, Richardson was a head coach for the Denver Broncos for two seasons — it was a disaster.

McDaniels was set to become the head coach for the Indianapolis Colts, but only to back out at the last minute to remain with the New England Patriots.

One interesting fact about McDaniels is that the Patriots have never won a Super Bowl without him on staff. He was on staff for all six championships and was their offensive coordinator for the last three.

Maybe McDaniels’ genius playcalling and winning experience will appear to Cowboys’ owner, Jerry Jones. If McDaniels is open to leaving the Patriots, it would be smart for the Cowboys to consider it.
