5. Greg Roman

Roman has previously served as the offensive coordinator for the 49ers and the Buffalo Bills, but Roman’s big break came in 2018 when he joined the Baltimore Ravens as their tight ends coach.

Roman was promoted to the Baltimore Ravens’ offensive coordinator in 2019. Roman also receives credit for turning his quarterback, Lamar Jackson, into a better two-way threat.

Many scouts thought Jackson would never be a passer and many thought he should move to be a wide receiver, but Harbaugh and Roman have turned Jackson into one of the league’s flashiest and most dynamic players ever.

Roman has never been a head coach in the NFL or even at a collegiate level, but his work with Jackson and previously Colin Kaepernick speaks for itself. This is someone Jerry Jones has to put at the top of his coaching wish list.
