This is a generous comparison. After having a breakout season, averaging 21 ppg on 52% from the floor and collecting 9 rpg, Julius Randle looks like one of the most promising young stars in the NBA.

Rui and Julius like to expose mismatches with their athleticism and size, typically leading to easy buckets in the paint. Both forwards are powerful, able to maintain control while getting hit on the way up to the basket and finishing. Also, Both Rui and Julius have surprisingly decent handles and can catch defenders of the dribble with a sudden cross or hesitation.
