29. Minnesota Timberwolves (Average Attendance: 14,312)

Last year the Timberwolves were drawing 3,000 more fans on average and the future looked really bright for Minnesota.

Then this offseason everything blew up when Jimmy Butler requested a trade and began to force his way out of town. Butler finally got his wish and was moved in a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

While fans must not like losing an All-Star player, the Timberwolves are playing much better with Robert Covington and Dario Saric than they were with Butler. Still, fans are more interested in stars than anything else, so the loss of Butler explains the drop in attendance.
