Toronto Raptors: Anthony Davis, Cheick Diallo
New Orleans: Pascal Siakam, Serge Ibaka, 2020 1st round draft pick
Pascal is having a hell of a year, and Toronto fans will hate to see him go…for moment.
Toronto has been aggressive in the trade market since the off-season, why stop now? The Raptors have a shot at claiming the East this season, with the addition of Anthony Davis it will be a done deal. Plus, the Toronto front office must be concerned with Kawhi’s future, especially after he bought a $13 million mansion in L.A. a few days ago. Acquiring Anthony Davis should sell Kawhi on longevity in the north.
This is one of the best case scenarios for the Pelicans. Pascal is a rising star at 24 years old and a great pick up for a team losing one of the best big men in the league. Serge Ibaka is far from a throw in as well, currently averaging 16 points per game on 53% shooting. Player wise this will likely be the best offer New Orleans could receive, thus the Raptors won’t feel as inclined to include multiple 1st round picks.
