10 Ideal Trades for Anthony Davis

Oklahoma City Thunder: Anthony Davis

New Orleans Pelicans: Steven Adams, 2019 & 2021 1st round draft picks

Steven Adams, its been real…

The Thunder are built to win now, but they are a step behind the Warriors, Nuggets, and potentially a healthy Lakers team. Steven Adams is the heart of OKC as much as Russ is, but this news could mean its time for the two to part ways. The Thunder are currently 3rd in the West with Paul George having an MVP caliber season, adding Anthony Davis will likely bring rings to OKC for the first time in Franchise history.

I can only imagine the look on Kevin Durant’s face after learning about an OKC Anthony Davis trade. How sweet Russ’ revenge would be after all the KD drama and Thunder playoff woes. The scoring options Russ will have will be absurd, and the defense will be even better.

The Pelicans could be very interested in this offer, unless they feel it isn’t worth creating another super-team in the west. Steven Adams is a top notch center in the NBA on both ends of the court, Jrue Holiday and Adams would pair up very nicely on pick and rolls. Two 1st round draft picks don’t hurt either.
