Nicknamed the “Grindfather”, Tony Allen was known as a fierce competitor and stingy defender throughout his 14-year NBA career. Allen was credited by many as one of the few players that was able to slow Kobe Bryant down offensively. Allen was a six-time All-Defensive Team member and won his lone NBA championship in 2008 with the Boston Celtics.
