7. Dražen Petrović

Dražen Petrović was becoming one of the best shooting guards in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets when his career and life were cut short due to a car accident when he was just 28 years old. In Petrović’s last season he averaged 22.3 points per game, shot 45% from three-point range and 52% from the field. Petrović had a long and successful career in Europe prior to coming to the NBA and is considered one of the greatest European shooters of all-time.
