Top 25 Best Shooters in NBA History

2. Ray Allen

Ray Allen was considered the greatest shooter in NBA history for a long time and he is still the leader on the all-time three-point list. Allen’s 2,973 three-pointers made is over 400 more than the next closest player on the list. Allen shot 40% from three throughout his 18-year career and attempted nearly six threes per game.

Allen also hit what many people consider the most clutch shot in NBA history, when he made a heavily-contested three-pointer with just 5.2 seconds remaining in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals. The Miami Heat were down 3-2 in the series and if Allen did not make that shot to send the game to overtime, the Heat would have likely been eliminated.
