The Bucs second-round pick (45th) out of the University of Minnesota has been an absolute draft steal. He has helped sure up Tampa’s back end with superb coverage skills and sure tackling. The son of a former NFL player has shown his pedigree, playing like a seasoned vet. To date, Winfiled Jr. has 32 solo tackles (50 total), 2 sacks, 1 INT, and 4 passes defended this season.

Jeremy Chinn- Safety, Carolina Panthers

The 64th pick in the draft out of Southern Illinois may not be a household name, but he has the potential to be one soon. This 6’3″ 220-pound safety has displayed versatility and brought a physical presence to the Panthers secondary. He has 40 solo tackles (70 total), 1 INT, and 5 passes defended. If he can create more splash plays in the remaining games, he could catapult to the top of the list.
