UPSETS GALORE

When talking about upsets this year, the first team that comes to mind is Oral Roberts.

The 15th seeded Summit League champs knocked off the second seeded Ohio State Buckeyes in a close 75-72 victory. The Golden Eagles followed that “W” with another one by upsetting the seventh seeded Florida Gators in another three point victory, 81-78.

Oral Roberts became the second 15th seed ever to advance to the Sweet 16, according to ESPN. The last team to do it was Florida Gulf Coast back in 2013.

The Golden Eagles will now face off against the third seeded Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.

Oral Roberts has the opportunity to become the first 15th seed to ever advance to the Elite Eight. Which would be fitting for a year like this in college basketball.
