March Madness Chaos: Breaking Down All the Action From the First Weekend of the “Big Dance”

Put Some Respect on the Pac-12’s Name

Paul Sancya/The Associated Press

The Pac-12 is having a completely different story than the Big Ten. Every team from the “Conference of Champions” has advanced to the Sweet 16. The Pac-12 is undefeated this March! Which is crazy for a conference that was laughed at and ignored all season long.

USC, UCLA, Oregon and Oregon State have all played great basketball at the most important time of the season.

The most impressive team out of these four has been the USC Trojans.

The Trojans trounced the Kansas Jayhawks in their second round matchup. I mean, they embarrassed Kansas. The final score was 85-51. The game was never close.

Andy Enfield’s, the former Florida Gulf Coast head coach that lead them to the Sweet 16, has made his first Sweet 16 since becoming the head honcho at Southern Cal.

Lead by the Mobley brothers, Isaiah and Evan, the Trojans are the real deal. Because of their solid defense, the best in the Pac-12, the Trojans have a real shot to make the Final Four. However, that would mean USC would get past the top overall seed, the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
