Predicting every matchup to see who will advance to the Final Four
It’s been far from a chalky tournament thus far and that’s probably underselling the amount of madness we’ve seen. According to David Worlock, the NCAA Director of Media Coordination/Statistics, tweeted out that over the first two rounds of the tourney, their have been 12 upsets which is the most through the round of 32 of all time
With that being said, the upsets usually die down as the tournament goes along. The obvious reason being that there aren’t as many teams left. The other reason is the better teams start to show why their seeded higher. However, as noted by Worlock, this year’s been the craziest of all time.
With that all in mind, let’s take a look at every Sweet 16 matchup from every region and try to predict who will be left standing at the weekend’s end, where the Final Four will be set, starting with the West Region.
