BIG3 Week 3: Will Bynum’s Ankle Breaker, Joe Johnson vs Josh Smith in Atlanta, & The League’s Playmakers To Watch For.

Things in the BIG3 are really starting to heat up.

The games have been competitive; most contests finish with a close score, rarely any blow outs. As cliché as it sounds, these guys are playing their hearts out early in the season and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

University of Kentucky Basketball Head Coach, John Calipari, was in Philadelphia attending the BIG3 games last Sunday and had this to say about the league: “It’s good for the game, but it’s good for these players…none of them lose their competitive spirit, they’re like fighting to win these games.” Coach Cal went on to say, “we still like to watch these guys… the players association, even the NBA should be involved in this.”

High praise from one of the most respected men in the game. Other big-name attendants this weekend included Kemba Walker and LL Cool J.

This past weekend was one of the most entertaining in BIG3 history. Thanks to some of the league’s most talented players, basketball fans can get their highlight fix once again.
