Warriors To Retire Kevin Durant’s Number

Following Kevin Durant’s departure from the Warriors, owner Joe Lacob announced on Monday that his no. 35 jersey will be retired, despite only playing for the team for three years.

Durant and the Warriors made the Finals in all three seasons, winning two titles. With the way his tenure ended, perhaps the Warriors feel a bit guilty about KD’s departure.
