BIG3 Week 3: Will Bynum’s Ankle Breaker, Joe Johnson vs Josh Smith in Atlanta, & The League’s Playmakers To Watch For.

Joe Johnson

The MVP.

No one is quite on the same level as Joe Johnson right now. He ranks in the top 2 in scoring, rebounding, assists, 4-pointers, and ranks 3rd in steals.

His stats: 23.5 points per game, 12 rebounds per game, & 5 assists per game. These are NBA All-Star numbers in a league in which the winning team is the first to score 50 points. He’s putting up these absurd numbers in less than half the time of an NBA regulation game.

JJ is messing up everyone on the defense. He has taken everyone guarding him off the dribble, left or right at will. His jumpshot is nearly automatic, and inside game is unstoppable.

Joe Johnson can simply put his back into anyone and fight for a bucket or hit them with a quick step-back. He has become the main event every weekend, the fan favorite.

Joe Johnson faces his former Atlanta Hawks teammate, Josh Smith, & the Bivouac in Atlanta at the State Farm Arena where it all started.

You know Joe Johnson must put on a show for his former Atlanta Hawks crowd. Expect BIG numbers from Iso Joe; we predict 27 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, and another 4-pointers with a W.

As far as Josh Smith goes, we believe he’s going to be hyped about his reunion with Joe Johnson at the State Farm Arena, so we think he’ll put on for the city one more time. Josh has had a couple of rough first games. He was ejected early in Week 1 after an altercation with Royce White and lost against the Ghost Ballers last weekend. So, we anticipate a solid game from Josh.

Josh Smith’s stat prediction: 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, on 7-11 from the floor.
