As scorers, defenders, and leaders, these guys have earned their title as Playmakers.

These men have proven to be a cut above the rest, the leaders of the pack, and another reason why fans will be tuning into Week 3 of the BIG3.

Amar’e Stoudemire

Stoudemire is putting up NBA numbers.

It appears his old looming injury issues have finally faded away. The big man is putting up 22 points per game and 8 rebounds per game.

He has been mixing it up nicely on the offensive end. His vintage postgame hasn’t aged a day, he’s still putting his shoulder into defenders and getting to the basket off a few dribbles. Amar’e has had a fluid jump shot all season and his pick and roll game is as reliable as ever.

Unfortunately, his team hasn’t been able to pick up a win during this stretch. However, that is largely because Tri-State captain Jermaine O’Neal hasn’t played this season and the team has had one of (if not) the toughest schedule thus far.

This week, Tri-State will take on the hobbled and winless 3’s Company Saturday at 5:00 pm Est. Amar’e will likely take turns facing off against Drew Gooden and Dermarr Johnson.

Both Gooden and Johnson will have a tough time keeping Amar’e out of the paint, but Gooden is 3’s Company’s best chance at getting the job done.

Nevertheless, Tri-State has yet to win a game, so we expect Amar’e to come out score 20-25 and grab 10 boards with a block (maybe 2) to lead his team to their first victory of the season.
