BIG3 Week 3: Will Bynum’s Ankle Breaker, Joe Johnson vs Josh Smith in Atlanta, & The League’s Playmakers To Watch For.

Craig Smith

Not Gilbert Arenas, not Royce White, not Lamar Odom, Craig Smith is the leading scorer on the Enemies, averaging the 3rd highest points per game in the BIG3 with 22.5. He is also averaging 1 block per game.

While we believe Gilbert is going to pick up the pace in the next week or so, Craig is here to stay as well.

The 6’7 forward is proving to be one of the best shooters in the BIG3, leading the league in 3-pointers made and shooting 50% from deep.

Gilbert may have hit the game winning bucket, but Craig Smith is mostly to thank for the teams first victory of the season. He had 19 points and (4) made 3’s to lead the Enemies to a W.

Like Will McDonald, this is another star in the making.

For Week 3, Craig Smith will take on Ricky Davis and the Ghost Ballers. Ricky will be Craig’s matchup for most of the game, and we don’t see that being a problem for him (no disrespect to Ricky).

Ricky Davis should play him tough, but now with the defense mainly concerned with Gilbert Arenas, Craig Smith should be able to slip through the cracks for some open 3’s here and there and get his buckets. Craig will continue shooting lights out while working a little inside game occasionally.

We believe Craig Smith will score 20 points with (4) 3’s just like last week, on 4-7 shooting from deep.
