2020 NBA Free Agency

2. Brandon Ingram – New Orleans Pelicans (Restricted)

In his first year in New Orleans, Ingram showed the world why he was compared to Kevin Durant back in 2016 when he was drafted 2nd by the Lakers. The 23-year old won the Most-Improved Player award and earned his first all-star appearance. He did this by putting up close to 24ppg, 6rpg, and 4apg.

The young up-and-coming stud is a restricted free agent now. It’s hard to imagine New Orleans not giving Ingram whatever he wants based on the season he just had. Expect Ingram to sign a long-term deal to stay in New Orleans.

3. Demar DeRozan – San Antonio Spurs (Player Option)

Their’s no much to say about DeRozan since he already decided to exercise his player option to remain in San Antonio.

For those thinking DeRozan should have tried to test the market, I can think of $27 million reasons why he decided to stay. Despite another great season from the 31 year old Compton Native, no other team was going to pay him the kind of money he has left on his deal.
