20 Most Immovable Contracts in the NBA

7. Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson signed a four-year $50 million contract as a restricted free agent back in 2016, after the Heat matched an offer sheet from the Brooklyn Nets. The overall deal was not awful, except the fact that the Nets severely back-loaded the deal.

Because of the structure of the contract, Johnson now has one of the worst contracts in the NBA as he is being paid over $19 million this year with a player option that will match that number next year. Johnson also has a 15% trade kicker on his deal, making it even harder to move.
