20. Donovan Mitchell
Donovan Mitchell was already a star when it came time to play in the postseason, as a Rookie of the Year candidate and the Jazz’ leading scorer.
But being a star in the regular season and showing that you can win a playoff series are two completely different things.
Mitchell’s first playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder proved that this kid has what it takes to be the best player on a championship team.
Mitchell averaged 26.8 points per game, including 38 points in a series-clinching Game 6 performance. The Jazz ultimately lost in the second round, but they at least know that their franchise player is not afraid of the big moments.
