James Harden was the MVP last season and he carried that success into the playoffs. Harden eclipsed 30 points in eight games, three of which were 40-point efforts, as he led the Rockets offensive attack.
Houston made it within one game of the NBA Finals, almost upsetting the Golden State Warriors. In Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, the Rockets shot an abysmal 7 for 44 from three-point range but Harden did his best to keep them afloat as he scored a team-high 32 points.
Across 17 postseason contests, Harden averaged 28.6 points, 6.8 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.
