Victor Martinez had a long and successful career in the MLB as a professional hitter. Martinez hit over .300 in 10 of his 16 seasons and hit over .330 three times.

Martinez continued to get better as he got older and had maybe his best season in 2014 at 35 years old. Martinez led the AL in on-base percentage at .409 and in OPS at .974. Martinez finished that year second in the MVP race and won his second Silver Slugger.
