Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali was vocal about his displeasure with the Vietnam War. In 1966, when called upon by the U.S. government to sign up for the draft, he declined. He was subsequently denied a passport and boxing license for over three years from 1967-1970.

Ali has many quotes that range from humorous to inspirational. But his most powerful quote in my opinion is when he described why he would not go fight in the war:
