But Woods did get back to playing golf and his redemption tour of 2018 was one of the biggest surprises in sports. Woods finished second at the Valspar Championship in Florida, then finished in second again at the last major of the 2018 season at the 2018 PGA Championship.

Then Woods showed everyone that his comeback was complete when he made it to the winner’s circle for the 80th time in his career. Woods won the season-ending Tour Championship and nearly took home the FedEx Cup due to his incredible play at the end of the tour.
