16. Brandon Nimmo
Brandon Nimmo came into the 2018 season as the Mets fifth outfielder, but as the season wore on, he became a reliable starter for New York.
Nimmo was an ideal leadoff hitter, with a .404 on-base percentage and 77 runs scored. Nimmo’s ability to get on base was not limited to his swinging of the bat though, as he also drew 80 walks and led the National League with 22 hit by pitches.
