9. Oliver Perez
Oliver Perez is one of the more interesting stories in baseball over the last decade, as the failed starter almost washed out of the league but ultimately discovered newfound life coming out of the bullpen.
Perez does not have the electric stuff he was once possessed as a starter and instead relies on mixing up the looks that he gives hitters to screw up their timing.
The results were never better than in 2018, when Perez pitched to a sparking 1.39 ERA as a lefty specialist for the Cleveland Indians.
