Jarrett Allen was drafted with the 22nd overall pick last year and is beginning to show real promise as the Nets starting center. Last season Allen averaged 8.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Now those numbers have jumped to 12.2 points and 8.3 rebounds respectively. One area of concern so far this season is Allen’s free throw shooting, which has regressed since last year. Allen shot 78% percent from the line last year and while he is getting to the line twice as much this year, his free throw percentage has dropped to 69%.
