6. Aaron Gordon

When the Orlando Magic signed Aaron Gordon to a hefty four-year $84 million extension this offseason, it was clear that they were making his development a priority moving forward. Gordon experienced his real breakout season last year, in which he averaged 17.6 points per game, but this year Gordon seems to be doing more than what the counting stats would indicate.

Gordon is being more selective in his shot selection, as he was jacking up nearly six threes per game last year. This year, Gordon has cut his three-point attempts to 4.2 per game and in turn is shooting a career-best .376 percent on those attempts. Gordon is maturing into a more consistent featured scorer, that is not taking away from his teammates to get his points.
