Rui Hachimura Kicked In His Nuts So Hard That He Had Surgery

In April of that season, Hachimura announced that he would forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2019 NBA draft, where he was selected 9th by the Wizards. In his NBA debut, he recorded a double-double as a starter, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a 100-108 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

On December 1st, Hachimura scored a career-high 30 points in a 125-150 loss against the Los Angeles Clippers, along with nine rebounds, three assists and a steal.
