The hottest trade rumor over the last week has been the possibility of the Rockets sending James Harden to Brooklyn, as requested by Harden per Adrian Wojnarowski.

A big 3 with Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving would make Brooklyn that undoubted favorites by the Vegas oddsmakers to win the 2021 NBA Finals. Of course, a deal like this is easier said than done. The Houston Rockets have been open that they want a young star in return for James Harden and they’re willing to wait and be patient until the right offer is made. With James Harden under contract until 2023, the Rockets feel they have the leverage in these negotiations.
