Kyrie Irving Doesn’t Want James Harden In Brooklyn According to Chris Broussard

However, even if the Nets can package an enticing deal for Houston to land Harden, they may be facing an entirely new problem by bringing in the superstar. NBA insider Chris Broussard with Fox Sports claims that Kyrie has expressed that he rather not play alongside James Harden in Brooklyn.

“But people around the league are saying Durant wants Harden, and Kyrie does not.”

While Broussard is the first and only reporter to make these claims, they are not hard to believe. Kyrie Irving is a ball-dominant scoring guard, much like James Harden. Despite being a shooting guard, James Harden has historically been the better and more willing passer, averaging 6.3 assists throughout his career to Kyrie’s 5.7 assists. So how would the chemistry work? Is there enough basketball to go around between this potential big 3?

Kevin Durant is the only one out of this trio that has proven to be an elite player and scorer while being an off-ball player, letting the game come to him rather than holding the ball throughout the entire shot clock and then forcing up improbable shots after going iso for 20 seconds.
