Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a gruesome leg injury Monday night against the Nets, that required him to be carried off the floor in a stretcher.
The injury occurred in the second overtime of the game, when Nurkic missed a putback attempt off a Moe Harkless miss and came down awkwardly, resulting in his left leg appearing to break in horrific fashion.
Here is video of the injury, but a WARNING that it is very graphic.

There is no word on the specifics of the injury, but Nurkic was taken to a local hospital once he was stretchered off.
Terry Stotts says Nurkic is at a local area hospital and doesn’t have much to say from there. Calls it “devastating” and described the locker room at “quiet.” Blazers clinched a playoff spot tonight by the way.

The Blazers did win and clinch a playoff spot, but it seems like for the second year in a row, they will be without their big man in the postseason.
Prayers to Nurkic for a full recovery soon.
