Coors Light’s Tom Flores Campaign Hits The Mark

Even Congress Members Support Flores’ Induction

On January 11, 2021, California Rep. Costa proposed a resolution urging the NFL to induct Flores. The bill can be viewed here: Text – H.Res.27 – 117th Congress (2021-2022): Urging Tom Flores be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. | Congress.gov | Library of Congress.

Rep. Costa spoke about the impact Flores had on the NFL and Hispanic community last September to Congress.

It should not take this much effort to provide the recognition to a man that unmistakably has earned it. Many reporters and news outlets have discussed this topic for years. But as of today, Tom Flores has been named a finalist for the Hall of Fame. He will find out Saturday night if he gets enshrined in Canton’s great hall. Hopefully, the efforts of Congress, reporters, and Coors pay off. It seems like a no brainer for the committee, as I’m sure it would make many fans and Tom Flores elated.
