Boston Hosts First Transgender Hockey Team

These comments from the transgender community is what inspired Browne to join an all-trans hockey team, which competed this past weekend in Massachusetts: Team Trans vs. Boston Pride Hockey.

The tournament was hosted by Boston Pride Hockey, an LGBTQ intramural organization that involves both cisgender and transgender members.

The search for enough members to form an all-transgender hockey team was a challenging one. One player contacted the Boston Pride Hockey’s Vice President, Mark Tikonoff, about how they would find enough members for a full team.
