Atlanta Hawks: Trae Young Breaks Franchise Record

Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is an offensive scoring threat, and he is already breaking franchise records.

In last night’s game against the Denver Nuggets, Young put up some impressive numbers, breaking a franchise record for the Hawks.

Young became the first Hawks player to record at least 30 points and 10 assists in three consecutive games. Young also recorded his season-high in points, finishing with 42.

Young also joined elite company last night as it was his second 40-point, 10-assist game before his twenty-second birthday.

Young scored 15 of his 42 last night in the fourth quarter. Young appears to be confident about his game and the path he is taking.

“I’m having a lot of fun, my shots are going in right now. Hopefully that continues to happen. I’m just trying to do whatever it takes to help my team win.”

The Hawks are 4-6, sitting in the 10th spot in the eastern conference. This team still has a lot of work cut out for them, but they have an excellent leader and scorer in Trae Young.

The Hawks’ next game will come tomorrow night against the Phoenix Suns, who are coming off of a loss in a very close game against the Los Angeles Lakers. It should be interesting to see Young go against such a lethal scoring team.
