Corey Maggette had a phenomenal season in 2018. He finished 3rd in points per game, 5th in rebounds per game, 2nd in assists per game, led his team to a title victory, and won MVP.

The reigning MVP is a complete package and controls the ball on both sides of the court, and thats what we expect out of him for Week 1.

Demarr Johnson is a shooter, a 4-point specialist. Therefore, we are anticipating he’ll be effective from 3 and hit at least 3 shots from deep.

The 3’s Company Captain is going to have a problem getting around Maggette. The MVP will force Demarr to pass the ball, but Demarr should be able to get his shots off with some catch and shoot plays.

Because Corey’s defense will be on point, we don’t see Demarr knocking down any 4s, nor getting the better of this matchup.
