There’s no way No Chill Gil doesn’t win his matchup on his debut. Will Bynum is a hard defender to beat, but Gilbert Arenas is going to steal the show in Week 1 and make a BIG splash.
Gil is one of the best scoring guards of his generation. The former NBA All-Star averaged over 29 points per game in his prime and racked up 60 points in his career high scoring game.
Gilbert has now waited 7 years to get back to professional basketball, and we don’t think he came back to disappoint.
Agent Zero is going to pull out all the tricks that are left in his bag; nasty crossovers, hesitations, fadeaways, draining 3’s, dropping dimes, and whatever the defense gives him.
Because we expect Gil to rise to the occasion and make his case for best player in the BIG3, we believe he’ll hit (2) 4-point shots.
Any BIG3 team would be lucky to have Will Bynum. He makes the smart plays and takes the right shots. He will have a solid game of his own, but Gilbert Arenas will be too much to contain for him in Week 1.
