30 Jumbotron Appearances in 30 Days: A Playmaker Exclusive

“I developed a nice fan base, and I’d hate to disappoint them if I couldn’t keep this streak alive.”

“But what happens if I don’t make it? I keep going.

I still want to see every team, every stadium. If I don’t make it then I’m still going to continue because I enjoy the game, the energy, passion, and culture of the fan bases.”

*My favorite moment of this entire interview*

We can all learn something from David here. Too many of us get wrapped up in our day-to-day routines, get caught up with work and deadlines, and get distracted one way or another to eventually forget to mix things up and do something that makes us feel alive rather than just existing.

David understands there’s a chance he will not achieve his goal of attending 30 NBA games in 30 days and appearing on the jumbotron in all 30 games. But he didn’t take a month off of work and skip Christmas to break a world record or gain a lot of followers on Instagram. He’s doing this for happiness, and for ultimately for himself.

Yes, David has made a positive impact on others along the way, but 30 for 30 for 30 is all about simply having the NBA fan experience of a lifetime. David’s way of living the dream.
