9. Manny Machado vs. the Boston Red Sox

Manny Machado did not have a great postseason in 2018, as his team lost in the World Series and he earned the reputation of being a dirty player.

The Red Sox have a long history of disdain for Machado dating back to when he was a member of the Baltimore Orioles. Then in the World Series, Machado stepped on the heel of Red Sox first baseman Steve Pearce, only heightening the feud between the Red Sox and Machado.

The Red Sox got the last laugh, as Chris Sale struck out Machado to end the World Series.
